What is Camp B-U?
Welllll...some would call it a "Beauty and Barber University", hence the B-U. And that's true! We are a nonprofit, after-school/summer camp program,
designed for children in the community who may want to pursue the beauty and barber industry, and all its Glory!
Will my child receive licensure after completing the program?
Children DO NOT receive a license after completing the 10-week program. They will still have to go to a school in their field for proper licensing. However, they DO receive a Certificate of Completion, credibility from Instructors, continual support, and gain positive exposure for future endeavors.
What ages do you accept? Where will classes be held?
Class locations will be held in your local Buffalo Public Schools and will serve as an after-school program. Starting date 10/27/2025. Current grades for the program are 5-8.
Do/Will you offer Adult classes?
Absolutely!! Just stay connected with our website and social media pages for the announcement!
Who teaches the Campers?
In all classroom settings will be a Certified Instructor, a Licensed Professional within their line of work, and a Teacher Assistant (as needed).
